Why does it take so long for the Phonak hearing aids to connect to the TV Connector?

Verify the television volume is not muted. The TV Connector will enter standby mode if there is no (or very low) audio signal for 45 seconds. It can take up to 45 seconds for the TV Connector to become active from standby mode.
