Why do I see a  ‘Connection error’ message while creating a custom program in the myPhonak app?

UPDATE: This issue has been resolved in myPhonak version 6.9 and later. Please update your app to the latest version.

If you are an iPhone user and encounter a warning message stating that the connection is lost while creating a custom program, please be assured that this issue is known. Despite the message, you can continue with the creation of your custom program. However, the program name can only be customized in the Hearing aid programs menu under the app's Devices section.  
We are fully aware of this issue and are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
