How to pair my Phonak hearing aids with Windows 10?

Pairing Phonak hearing aids with Windows 10

To ensure that the hearing aids are detected when they are being paired with Windows 10 for the first time, please deactivate other existing Bluetooth connections with your hearing aids. 

Please follow the instructions below to pair your hearing aids with Windows 10: 
 

  1. On the left end of the taskbar, select the Start icon

  1. Click on “Settings”

  1. Click on “Devices” (Bluetooth, printers, mouse)

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is switched on

  1. Click on “Add Bluetooth or other device”

  1. You will be asked to choose the kind of device you want to add. Select “Bluetooth”

  1. Add a device: 

  • To do this, open and close the battery doors of the hearing aids to enter pairing mode, or switch the hearing aids off and on again, if you have rechargeable Phonak hearing aids. 

  • After several seconds, the name of your Phonak hearing aid will appear with a headset icon on the list of available devices* 

  1. Select your hearing aid from the list to connect

Your Phonak hearing aids are now connected to Windows 10.

*If your hearing aid is not detected as a headset, please change the Bluetooth connection for phone calls from adaptive to fixed bandwidth. This can be done in the myPhonak app settings or by the hearing care professional in the fitting software.
